The power of words

Food Harms Or Heals

“Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.” – Proverbs 16:24

Now this verse really spoke to me, so I decided to take a deeper look into what God was saying.

And yes, pleasant words can truly make you feel loved, cherished, encouraged and on top of the world!

But malicious words can make you feel the complete opposite and literally DESTROY your bones! Harmful words can supress the immune system and allow chronic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoathritis to take hold and weaken the body.

So if you are holding on to anger and resentment, try to let it go, you are only hurting yourself. Take a deep breath, pray, forgive and hand it over to the LORD JESUS CHRIST, because He cares for you.

Then, while doing some research on honey, I was amazed to find that pure raw…

A post rich in scripture, keep it up brother and sister in Christ xx

No matter how good or great our lives are, we all suffer from ONE of the major facts of life. That is (worry). It is a thing that passes through each and every one of us .

It can be a small problem or a big one and alot of times, it can be over the simplest thing, that didn’t even require us to worry about it in the first place. Worry can be triggered by many different things in our lives such as: illnesses, financial problems, employment, problems within your home, marriage, an important meeting, and equipment going wrong. Those are some of the things in our lives that we worry about and there are many more.

Sometimes just about anything can cause us to worry depending on the strength of the problem that has arisen.  When that happens, it can cause far worse problems for us. When we…

Somewhere, Over the Rainbow…

                  2016-08-22 19.22.46      Skies are…

Skies are indeed many things including blue.

2016-08-17 21.36.41 HDR-2 This I like to think of as flying through the first firmament.

This is what came to mind when I was having a conversation with someone about conspiracy theories. He touched on the moon landing by the Americans in the 60’s and whether it actually happened or not. Personally, I don’t hold an opinion, but I did say ‘I can tell you what it says in scripture about the moon’… Gladly, he said, ‘Go on then’…

‘God created a greater light and a lesser light. The lesser light being the moon. It reflects the greater light for us to have his light even at night. When we don’t see the moon in our night sky, we still have his stars.’

Genesis 1:14= And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons and for days and years:

1:15= And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

1:16= And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

1:17= And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

1:18= And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

1:19= And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

So, as I finished explaining on simpler terms, he looked at me  and smiled saying,’I prefer to think of the moon in that way.’

Normally, to make a point I back one verse up with another, but I feel this is a stand alone event that we see continually in our lives. I have taken these things for granted.

This is yet another thing to be thankful for.

Every Blessing,  Xx Val
